hooray! a model that will take a MONTH to train!
What is this?
This model will try to be a model that when merged fits on 4 floppy disks.
Why do you say it will take multiple weeks?
It was originally going to take months, but I'm decreasing the dataset a little. I'm uploading checkpoints for every ~1000 steps.
Why are you training it on a Pi?
I'm bored.
How do I use it?
Download both the base and LoRA, and apply the LoRA to the base. A merged model will be made at the end of training.
What hardware do you have (since it's not listed?)
I don't list it because the things I can list aren't what I have. I have a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB of RAM, and a laptop with a i7-6700 (don't) and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M
Why not use the laptop?
A few reasons:
- It shuts off overnight
- I'm using a Live USB to power it
- The 1TB hard disk drive in it is completely destroyed
Are you planning to fix your laptop?
Yes! I'm saving up for a new 2TB VULCAN Z QLC SSD.
Why did you pick that SSD?
Stop asking me these personal questions.
How do I cite?
