Samy EN-DE (For my german friend who's called "samy")

A small bilingual English + German translation model. It runs locally with PyTorch and SentencePiece.

Use

Download or clone this repository, then run these commands from its folder:

pip install torch sentencepiece

from use import translate

print(translate("Hello, how are you?", "de"))  # English to German
print(translate("Guten Morgen!", "en"))         # German to English

The second argument is the target language: use "de" for German or "en" for English. The model uses a CUDA GPU when available; otherwise, it runs on the CPU.
